Today I’m flying to South America, where I will be climbing my the highest volcano in the world- Ojos del Salado 6,893m. Just 60m lower than Aconcagua to which I’m heading first and where I will spend the next 3 weeks and after I will make my way to Chile and head to the Ojos del Salado volcano.
This mighty and magical volcano is located in a very unique desert environment, on the edge of the Atacama Desert – classified as the oldest and driest place on Earth can’t wait to see it!

This trip is not only my personal challenge but also opportunity to raise an awareness about alternative ways of dealing with our traumas, for this reasons I dedicated this climb to the Women and Girls Network charity @womenandgirlsnetwork which provides a safe space for women and girls and helps them to recover from the experience of violence and abuse.
I would be grateful for sharing the fundraising and/or donating a symbolic £1.
Every person can make a difference! You too
Thank you!
As some of you know, just 3 weeks before my trip to South America and I managed to injury myself … now I’m gonna weara very sexy cast on my left hand for the next few weeks … Yes, as my Mum said today: ‘You should sit on your arse peacefully before any important and difficult expeditions!!!! But no – that’s all you – restless spirit, always on the move”
It’s been challenging few weeks for me, but I’m trying to put myself in the right state of mind, think positively and prepare mentally for this adventure! Keep your fingers crossed!
I don’t know how often I will be updating my social media but definitely I will tell you all about my adventures after my return.
Stay safe, healthy and enjoy life!
@shepherdneame and @bearislandbrews thank you for sponsoring my mountaineering outfit
