I travelled through beautiful Bali and Lombok, visited tropical islands, local villages, temples, markets, gorgeous beaches, waterfalls; I was snorkelling in crystal waters around the Menjangan Island reef and Gili Islands; I cycled through the local villages, hiked to the summit of the Mt Batur…with the view of the Mt Rinjani at sunrise … Great experience of this beautiful country.
I got to know many interesting and great people. I’m glad that I had a chance to discover the allure of these stunning islands, understand the culture and beliefs better and try a lovely Indonesian food, and my favourite sambal … hot and yummy!
